DI Peter Schulze has achieved a unique synergy of competences with studying mechanical engineering with a focus on food technology as well as business administration with focus on strategic management.
Over the past 25 years, he has been able to apply these skills extremely successfully in top European companies of international standing.
 
Looking forward to a smooth transition to his retirement, Johann Gierlinger already looked for competent staff last year when planning a secure continuation of the company. We were very pleased to have found the optimum for our company with DI Schulze. Unfortunately, Johann Gierlinger was prevented from signing the agreement, as he was unexpectedly taken out of life two days earlier.

For you as our employee, partner or client it is important to know that nothing will change in the values of the group. The Gierlinger Holding with its daughters will remain a family-run company or we will continue the successful expansion.

The production area of the Tamási plant (for Bacon and Crispy Bacon) will be doubled by the end of the year and gradually equipped with additional production lines.
All products will be marketed under the main brand "Gierlinger" from October 2020.
